SADAQAH JARIYAH
We will donate a portion of the membership fees collected to projects that will serve as Sadaqah Jaariyah for our members.
The most outstanding benefit of this product is that your monthly membership fees will help us to contribute to projects that will serve as continuous charity for you or your nominated beneficiary.
A minimum of R10 of your monthly membership fee will be donated as Sadaqah Jariyah on your behalf.
Sadaqah is the donating of money for the sole purpose of worshiping Allah (SWT), and the word Jariyah means ‘ongoing’. If you give money to a Sadaqah Jariyah project, you will continue to receive rewards for your kindness for as long as people benefit from it, and you can be safe in the knowledge that your money is benefitting the needy on an ongoing basis.
Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported:
Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three: recurring charity or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased).
[Sahih Muslim – Book 13 – Hadith 4005]
